Audable podium in the field of education, one of the oldest educational institutes of Ladwa town, Sugni Devi Arya Girls Sr. Sec. School, Ladwa, was founded by a generous donor and a philanthropist of the area, Late Lala Ram Prashad, in the year 1980, by donating nearly 55 acres of land located at a small village Seonti, in the periphery of the town, to Arya Samaj, Ladwa. The main motive of establishment of this institute was to provide quality education to girls.. Late Lala Ram Prashad had a vision of empowering women by providing education to this section of the society.

With the undying efforts of many more great personalities of the town, namely Late Sh. Sadhu Ram Ji, Sh. Jagat Prakash, President of the Managing committee, it was converted to a degree college.

In this connection, another philanthropist and humanitarian of the town, Late Sh. Babu Niranjan Prakash, Krishi Pandit, and founder patron of the institute played a pivotal role in giving concrete shape to the ideals and thoughts of Lala Ram Prashad.

Adopting the ideals as set by Swami Dayanand, founder of Arya Samaj, assimilating the traditional and modern culture, this high seat of learning is enlightening the lives of thousands of girl students for the last fifty seven years.

We have been following the path shown by the great visionaries of Ladwa town, who planted a tree of knowledge in the form of Sugni Devi Arya Girls School to eradicate the darkness of ignorance. That small sapling has now assumed the shape and size of a huge banyan tree. Girls hailing from various geographical areas receive education under this tree of knowledge.

Going back to history, the school was affiliated with Haryana Board of Education, Bhiwani, up to tenth standard in the year 1986, which was extended to twelfth standard in the year 1990. Since then, there is no looking back, and the institute is progressing by leaps and bounds year after after. Catering to changing scenario and expectations of the public, this year another feather has been added to its already decorated cap when CBSE, New Delhi granted affiliation to it up to 10+2 level.
